As we get ready to celebrate our 40th Anniversary, we have found an amazing collection of art from one of the earliest years of the school. While we don’t know what year this was made (1979?), we do know the students name who made it. This looks like a set of slides that were hand illustrated on 12″ x 12″ squares of fine-grade posterboard with magic marker. The hand drawn work was preserved somewhere in the building until Lucy Small discovered it a few weeks ago. It was difficult to scan all of the images into the computer at our school, and there are going to be some missing corners of the pictures because of that, but it is still a pretty interesting piece to click through.
This and much other student artwork will be on display at the 40th Anniversary Birthday Bash, be sure and get your tickets now!.
